Newtown Farm Guesthouse is a 3 star accommodation Located near the coastal resort of Ardmore the oldest Christian settlement in Ireland. Our guest rooms offer a haven of relaxation and are tastefully furnished with a country house feel. A full equipped sauna and a hard tennis court are extra amenities that we are delighted to offer our guests at no extra charge.

Breakfast is served in our sunny breakfast room overlooking the garden with view of Atlantic Ocean. The breakfast uses local ingredients and includes mouth-watering homemade scones, fruit, muesli and homemade brown bread, local cheeses, free-range eggs from the farm, smoked salmon and the traditional hot full Irish breakfast.

Standard amenities include free Internet, direct dial telephone hairdryers hospitality tray and top quality beds. All room has outstanding views of the surrounding countryside and gardens while South facing rooms have balconies with views of the Atlantic Ocean.

One of its great charms lies in the diversity of its landscape, with its mountains, rivers and beaches. Just 6 minutes drive to Ardmore. You can get excellent views of Ardmore by taking the cliff top walk from the round tower, and round the headland, back to the beach.

The rugged cliffs have stunning walks and spectacular views over the Celtic Sea. Ardmore is renowned for its fine Round Tower, 12th century beautifully proportioned monument to Irish monastic life and is one of the finest in Ireland. West Waterford offers much more than just spectacular scenery. Just 15 minutes drive to Dungarvan there are many sporting activities to be enjoyed, with golf courses horse riding, tennis, boardsailing and yachting. It is also an area rich in history, with many archaeological sites to visit. As well as castles and cathedrals there are beautiful houses and gardens to see.

The monastic trail, for example, which starts at the stunning round tower in Ardmore, will guide you through the lovely countryside stopping at sites such as Molana Abbey, St Cartage's Cathedral in Lismore and Mount Mellary Abbey in the Knockmealdown Mountain.

The area is a walker's paradise with the local Ardmore cliff walk and the Comeragh Mountains a short drive away and the stunning Mahon falls. Newtown Farm Bed and Breakfast is centrally located within easy reach of most of the major tourist sites.
